Sickies

Logan has been congested and running a fever off and on since last thursday.  He seemed fine
Ast Friday and Saturday and then Sunday after his nap he was hot again.  I took him to the doctor tuesday and she ran a strep test (negative) and checked his ears (clear).  She did prescribe an antibiotic because she thought it might be a sinus infection.  If you know me at all you know how I feel about unnecessary antibiotics.  I filled it with the intention of only using it if logan started complaining about his ears.  Well, that night he was still running a fever and was generally miserable and snotty.  I went ahead and started the round.  Ugh.  Cue the nasty diapers every 15 minutes and diaper rash.  :(. Horrible diaper rash.  Today the congestion and snot seem to be better, but he is FUSSY.  Omg.  So fussy.  At least no fever today.

Isabel was doing fine and had a great swim lesson earlier today.  She woke up from her nap and was pretty happy and playing.  We made a quick trip to Home Depot to get some last minute supplies for our kitchen painting weekend and then she just crashed during dinner.  She didn't want to eat at all and just wanted to cuddle on the couch.  It was a mommy, logan, Isabel bubble bath time and then Jammie's and movie in mommy and daddy's bed (big treat) and bed.  Isabel started running a fever and was absolutely miserable, so out came the acetaminaphine for her.  I should buy stock in that stuff.

Here we are on a Friday night taping walls and taking down window treatments getting ready to prime and paint the kitchen.  It was either the kitchen or the master bath this weekend.  I thought the biggest bang for our buck would be the kitchen.  We're going with a more subdued yellow.  I like the yellow, just not so much the mustard we have currently.
