Halloween Party, Parade, Playgroup, Pumpkins!

We had Logan's school halloween party Thursday and somehow Jenn and I ended up staying for almost 3 hours helping out. Two classes of 2 year olds in an unsecured field leads to chaos and kids running around everywhere. It was fun though. As we were trying to leave I felt bad because apparently all of the stuff outside needed to be brought in and it looked like Logan's teachers were going to have to do it themselves after school. Since they set everything up it seemed pretty unfair. So I volunteered Jenn and we hauled 16 pumpkins around 75 yards from the field back to school. We got a nice workout!

Pretend Logan, pretend.

I took Logan home a little early after we finished cleaning up and put him down for a nap. Since he went down for a nap early I decided to power through and go to the nursing home parade that afternoon. It was fun. Glad I had jenn to help wrangle the kids. This is the best picture we took. Logan wasn't interested in the group shot. He was interested in Elmo! This is his friend from school and we've been in MOMS club playgroups since they were born.

Friday we had a playgroup Halloween party.  Logan spent the entire time riding this little 'rollercoaster.'  He would go on it backwards, forwards, and the would make cars go on it.  Isabel's friend Patrick was there and they played hard together.  We tried to get another group picture, but I had to bribe Logan with food that he shoved in his mouth. That's why he looks like a chipmunk in all of the pictures.  His buddy Kian from school was there.  He was cookie monster this time, but his mom dressed as Elmo!

Saturday we decided to go ride the Zilker Zepher train. We talked it up and got everyone (especially Logan) excited. We get there and it's temporarily shut down due to a 'construction incident.' Bummer. Logan didn't seem to mind and was just happy to walk on the train tracks. We hit up the playground and balloon animal guy. We purchased a lovely butterfly and Nemo. After the playground we went to lunch and them home for naps.
