Logan's 9 month checkup and Isabel's little sentences

Logan weighed in at 20lb 1oz and was 28 inches long at his 9 month checkup today. That puts him 50th percentile for each. Yay! Glad his weight is on the charts this time. That's a HUGE gain in 3 months. His head was in the 75th percentile. Not exactly off the charts like Viv or Iz, but still respectable. :) Those stupid growth charts do nothing but cause anxiety in parents. He's doing fine developmentally and physically. The appointment took forever. A combination of the office being backed up, waiting for vaccinations, waiting for a lab tech for a blood test, waiting again for the doctor because Logan is borderline anemic. I'm not worried about this at all, but we'll be adding in those liquid vitamins that babies love so much to his daily routine. Gross. I'm looking forward to when he can eat a gummy vitamin like Isabel. Why do they make the Polyvisol so freaking gross? It's like eating a penny.

Isabel is being cute as ever. She's started really talking in 2 word sentences. She says 'hi mommy' and 'hi daddy' all the time. She's started saying 'big truck,' 'one more truck' and some other cute saying that I've forgotten. She's sort of obsessed with trucks.

Oh yes, how did I forget that Isabel has added 'mine' to her vocabulary. Sigh.
